Hi, I'm Manu. Those who don't know or don't remember my name tend to call me DJ.
Born in 1975 in France, I was given my first turntable at the age of two. Back then I used to break two or three needles per week.
Weirdly enough, I was a DJ before I even knew what a DJ is or does. I slowly figured that out after my closest friends started calling me DJ during my teenage years. They used to put me on music spinning duty at every party and it has not changed ever since.
Forward to now, and that went up to a lot of broken needles? (I have improved a lot on that thankfully). Living proof that people don't change, I still have some turntables and I still mix. I must admit I am addicted to what makes a crowd jump and scream. Remixes of classic tracks, club anthems, house, acid, trance, progressive, electro, pop, whatever rocks my boat as long as it makes you feel like dancing and go nuts. The only goal is to produce seamless, flawless mixing, and to give the ultimate experience, mixing a range of different music styles in a way that no other DJ will do. Go to the Music page and check it out for yourself.
Many thanks to my family and friends for the support over the years. Thanks also to the people from all over the globe who have attended my gigs, and given me the most awesome feeling ever. You know who you are!!! I do apologise for the angry neighbours and venues whose walls have ended up soaked in perspiration, triggering the various alarm sensors, bringing firemen and policemen to the party. Oops :) No thanks to all those who told me to stop dreaming and get a real job instead, I'm glad I did not listen to you.
I use and abuse Allen and Heath, Technics, BST, Pioneer, Denon, Numark, Apple, Hewlett-Packard, Toshiba. That and an awful lot of music.
Are you bored from reading this yet? Go crush some castles!
